#831 9/5 - 9/6 Race Report

Beautiful weekend for racing! Lot of first & bests for me.

Saturday NV LWSB got a great start, grabbed first off the launch and held if for a few laps until Brian Kelly (519) started giving me pressure, followed by Mark Fitgeral (143) leaving me in 3rd. Fortunately a battle between the two of them gave me an opening to grab 1st again, only to be taken again by Brian before the end of the race. Finished 2nd place

Sunday I ran NV LWSS, again a good launch coming into 2nd behind (388) Justin Hancort who had a phenominal launch. Spent a good amount of time chasing Justin who is just smoking fast and moving off to armatures after this weekend. Eventually he just kept pulling away leaving me open for the picking for again... Mr. Brian Kelley (519). Came upon some traffic from another class and Brian took the better line and beat me into 2nd. Fortunately for me there was a red flag thrown before the pass resulting in my clinching of 2nd place.

With an unofficial best of 01:25.166 due to the red flag (yes I learned how to hack the timing system )

3rd race weekend ever, 1st podium win, 2 2nd place finishes, 1 happy racer!

You neglected to mention the RIDICULOUS holeshot you got in LWSB. You went by me like I was standing still!! I literally looked down at my throttle and said.... "what the hell is this thing working?"

Thanks! It was a blast dicing it up with him. He's helped me with my timidness in passing . I do have to admit though, I'm glad he's off the AM

Thanks man, just lucky i guess. I never launched a bike before my first race in July. Its probably the main factor in finishing as well as I am.
