AM #151 Loudon Classic Race Report

This is my second race weekend and first with yellow plates. I'm very happy that I got the bump it gave me encouragement to continue racing and it was well worth it. The weekend as a whole went well. I certainly figured out what I need to work on. I got a new official PB 1:25.5ish in Sunday practice riding alone. During the races I find that I can't break through the groups of slower riders during the races and make passes. Especially if they are on faster bikes like in thunder bike. The race craft is certainly something I need to work on so that I can start to chase the faster riders. I'm disappointed that I couldn't go out and cut some hotter laps with someone to chase down. In the end it was a successful weekend. The bike ran great with no issues, rubber side stayed down and I got a chance to duke it out with the amateurs.

Thanks to the track, lrrs, and all the racers for making me an AM and racing with me. Also a big thanks to Sam Sdog and amsoil for helping me out with getting a garage for this weekend and the rest of the season.

It was a great weekend. Don't get me wrong, I just wish I was a little faster. That thought is keeping me anxious and excited for August.

I think you are going to have to get used to that feeling. 5 years racing and it hasn't changed for me :-p

Sorry I wasnt really able to put up a fight this weekend and dice it up with you buddy tho I am hoping to come back in July and with a fully functional bike and give you a run for your $$
