So, all I have is my iPhone, so I'm not going to type up details right now. But, I had a fantastic time this weekend with all my LRRS peeps, my bride to be, and Desmo dog. Much thanks to Low Down Racing, and the rest of the VT crew for support and good times....including Clarkies c12 fires and Landry's cigars. Also wanna give a shout out to Sweeney for helping hook me up with some sticky Dunlops for the weekend. Oh, and Mike weyant for the sweet levers! Land Air VT, thanks for the continued support! There was so much exciting racing this weekend, never a dull moment!
I had three podiums...no PB's though...here are some Cliff notes:
Gtl: 2nd, had rear tire grip issues...exhausting. Somehow ended up 2nd, don't remember shit.
Lwgp: 2nd, still had rear grip issues. had a very close date with the turn 12 wall after spinning the rear, it went like this: full lean, ratcheted throttle, slip, grip, slip, going sideways, gripping, bucked off the seat, tankslapper, reseated, wall *kiss, throttle, straightaway. Mechanical failures in that race allows me 2nd, should have been 3rd.
Lwsb: 2nd, now on dunlops, loved em. I Had an excellent start and was able to enter t1 next to fast guy #245 Chris Rau. He is an excellent rider and definitely has motor on me, and so after 2 laps, he checks out. I hear he may be checking out of AM, so maybe that will leave me to battle with the likes of 820 Adam butler, 276 Shane Lewis, 388 Justin hancort, and 447 Bill Cool. I had a great time racing all of you, see ya next round!
