Did'nt know how it would go down this weekend. I have been training hard and did some work to the bike for this year learning lessons from mistakes last year. Friday practice went well I thought, but with no way to time my laps I just used it to shake down the bike and get the cobb webs out of my head. Sat morning practice I checked the first sessions lap times and was not impressed with seeing 23's but thought ohh well I will have to push harder. Second session lap times reflected the same and was not happy but delt with it. Eric Block came over on his scooter and pointed at me and told me to come over there. I thought ohh man did I mess him up in practice some where. He loooked at me and said " you mother fucker" I was like what , what did I do? He said " you don't know ?" you clicked a 1.21.8. I was so friggin happy, turned out the app was messed up on the web site and the times were wrong. I shaved a second off a two year old PB on the first weekend. The race went on and I got the hole shot until a red flag by turn three. I gridded back up and slept on the line and pulled out fourth going into three. I reeled in Eric Shaw and passed him for third and held him off for two laps finnishing on the podium for the first time as a expert. Pretty happy with the results this weekend and looking forward to next race weeeknd!
Thank you to Peter Kates for the suspension and Tyler and Sean for the great Motor, things pulls like my One Ton Dually Diesel. Still have a camshaft to put in it can't wait to see how it goes then! Dunlop tires were amazing as always had fun sliding it around!
