A fun round for #2. We had some ups and downs in the garage but we always have a good time with our buddies.

Had 2 bad starts (usually a strength of mine), some issues with controls (brake lever adjusted out somehow, almost crashed), but still managed to bring home 2 podiums and get within 0.2 sec of my PB. Woot!

Also had a bad start or two (timing seemed a little off with starter sometimes this weekend), some good battles and a great battle for the win in MWSB with Larry #387

Piggy
Getting the times down and getting into the middle of the EX pack, a new PB with an 18.1 in MWSB!

so this sounds like it was more of a mechanical failure, more than rider error

I had my second mechanical DNF this past weekend; 20K mile stock clutch didn't survive a botched restart on my end. First was a shifter linkage that wasn't adjusted properly after reassembly, 2 seasons ago.

There is something to be said for racing a stock, boring, reliable bike.

Scottie: get a boring, "off the shelf" bike; more racing, less wrenching.

Will be putting stock, boring, V4 engine in it's place for meow. We'll see what the damage looks like and cost to repair. Eventually I'll have a stock-motor B-bike, just need to save pennies and get the same rear shock and link setup with a nice non-USD / P89 legal front end on it.

If all else fails, I'll cry mercy and go back to a 2V Ducati....

Sorry I packed up and bailed gents, it was just too depressing to think about sitting around and not riding. Awesome work by all, sucks for Jimmy... I will be back, maybe a cameo in the Classic weekend but I won't be able to be there Saturday.
