This was easily the most fun I've had at the track. I'll be back for sure. So, ran the rookie parade, finished right behind chuck.
Ran race 8, crashed out on lap 3. Minor lowside in 2, no damage to the turd, just couldn't kick the thing back to life. Too bad, because I had passed a few peeps and was feeling like god.
Ran 12 next, and I finished this one, and not last.

Sunday, just race 1 for me. I have no idea how I did, got hung up with some 600 I made my way around 4 times only to be passed on the front str8 and held up again. I did make some fun passes, I don't think I took anybody out, and once I finally cleared that i4, I gave a look back, saw nobody around me that I thought I was against, so I cruised around trying not to crash.

The bike isn't 100% after the fact. There may be a crack in the block at the base of the cylinder, and it weeps oil in a few spots. (these are nothing major, but warrant investigation)

Next time you have to kick it hot, and you're wearing MX or RR boots and leathers (do NOT attempt in sneakers / shorts) and you're aimed OFF TRACK:

Three solid kicks throttle closed.
Open the throttle WOT slowly (don't wanna wake the AP) then give'er two solid kicks and see if she lights.

If she kicks back, enjoy the flight. (You're in full gear, right?)

Also, ping me if you've not been shown proper kick technique on a big single, there are a few tricks that'll help.

Thanks kurls. I do have experience with big thumpers, she just wouldn't light after laying on the ground. I kicked the shit out of it, first with the normal hot start routine, then with the actual hot start button out, one of the cw's tried to pop start it for me, no dice. Once I came back in, caught my breath, put my flip flops back on, she lit off like normal and continued to do so for the rest of the wknd.

ROTY or most crashing... pick one. If you crash as often as AJ you will have too many DNFs to get enough races to go NV-EX in a year.
