I wish. It's not though.
At VIR, the pivot for the shift lever came loose and was contacting the swingarm. Didn't realize what was causing it at the time but the gearbox would mysteriously downshift near the same section on the straight when we were running the South Course. Bike did this only a few times but with the shift pivot contacting the swingarm the suspension compression was overcoming the gear engagement and forcing downshifts, even under full power. I imagine that, along with bent forks, the dogs have also been affected.
Whatever the case, my bike is not going to run for the rest of this year as I've decided not to tear this motor apart two times....once to fix this issue and one more time for the refresh. Gonna do it once and be done with it.
So, my next question is--> Does anyone have a MW bike I could play around on?
