only issue with the R6 tube is that you'll have to use a dremmel and shave off a small area for the throttle cable. The R1 tubes fit right on without any modification needed.
Yeah, it's a direct swap for 1st gen. If you have a 2nd gen it'll fit, but you can't go full throttle. Some trimming required.

I'm not sure what year R6 tube I got from Noel (think it was an 03-05) but the one that I got from Joel Allen at the track had a slightly larger cam, shortening the throw a little more. Probably a later model tube since he's got an 06. Both required some dremeling.

Fwiw...I knew about it for years and when I finally did it I wondered why I waited so long. Easier and faster to get the wfo out of 2 and 4 without doing the finger walk around the grip.
