The touchy throttle and brakes as well as an unnatural seating position make supersports harder to get used to and control easily. More tame bikes with squishy brakes lackluster throttle response and upright sitting are less difficult to mess up. Once you have the basics down(1000-3000miles) get a turbo busa and you'll be fine, but nobody learns to drive a car in a supercar or a race car. Supersports are race bikes with turn signals. Sure if your careful and responsible you can start with a 600 or a 1000 or a 1300-1400cc bike and be fine. But if your being too careful cause its way more powerful than your ready for you may never learn the skills needed to ride well. You may also give up riding because you never learn to enjoy it and are stressed on your bike instead of relaxed.
