I'm thinking of going bigger. You can check out mine this weekend. All aluminum, a few years old, 'stealth' brand 6x10 with the high ceiling.

Why is this one so expensive? No AC/Heat unit, no big screen tv, no 20 inch rims and no guarantees it makes you a better rider.

    2016 United 14x7 V-noise
    $10,500
    Whitesboro, NY (13492)

Trailer is located in Quakertown, Pa but can be brought up to Utica NY as I'm here for therapy or NJMP/NYST. Used the trailer for about 6 weekends Aug-September last year and stored Quads in it over the winter. Selling due to having a major snowmobile accident over the winter and trailer is just sitting plus will lighten the bill load

    Price is $10,500

I'm sure im forgetting something to I'll add once I remember

    - 2016 United 14x7 V-noise (plus 2 feet in the V) (7/15 build date)
    - 30 amp power
    - 4 lights in side when plugged in to 30 amp and one 12v when hooked up to truck
    - pop out bed
    - pit bull floor mount only (have system for R6 but keeping it)
    - other in floor D ring (flush to floor)
    - coin rubber floor
    - over head cabinets
    - weekend warrior package
    - camper door (w/ window)with screen door
    - awning
    - window on side with pop out

Nice to know J.C. I'm looking for the upgrade to an enclosed but could be a few months before I make a move.

the pop out makes it expensive. id love one of those, but those hybrids are pricey. i was talking to a buddy that is a RV tech and asked if one of those pop outs could just be installed. he said no. gotta buy them built that way. cha-ching.

Re: Aluminum 6x10 trailer or larger

I found someone that sold a pop-out like that aftermarket. You could install it in whatever you want. Not a simple DIY though as the side of the trailer needs to be basically re-engineered. Also the pop-out was $$$, even by itself.

    Still, $10k. Ophf!

Bill. I bought a 6x12 all aluminum EZ-Hauler branded trailer from Alton Motorsports in Alton NH last year. I believe you've seen the trailer. One of the better quality trailers I looked at and the price was pretty good. Actually only a little more expensive than most of the quality steel trailers I was looking at. And way less than most used trailers. I just looked and the prices seem to have gone north over the last year. But maybe still worth a look as a baseline.

Thanks for the heads up Colin. Looks like their cheapest is almost $4000. I'm not willing to double my trailer investment just to stand up straight

Re: Aluminum 6x10 trailer or larger

Sorry. Guess I misunderstood what you meant by the "first digit" bit. I thought you were talking price. In which case you sounded close to new pricing on used trailers. Unfortunately I saw a lot of that when I was shopping; near new pricing on 2+ year old, already showing rust steel trailers. Didn't want to see you headed for that when there are options. Best of luck.

Unfortunately it does look like their advertised prices have gone up considerably. Bummah.

Re: Aluminum 6x10 trailer or larger

I'm planning on selling my trailer at the end of this season. It's a Triton TC-16...technically an enclosed snowmobile trailer, so it has a low ceiling, but it works just fine for motorcycles. It's 16 feet so a little larger than you're looking for, but it's all aluminum so very light weight. The certificate of origin lists it at 1065lbs. Haven't come up with a price on it yet, but i'm sure it would be within your range. Attached a generic pic I found online to give you an idea of what it looks like. I can get you more details / pictures if it's something you'd be interested in.

Thanks Win, but I already have a short fat one. I'm looking to make it grow a little taller

Height wise - that trailer was made for me. I think Mo & I would be the only ones that could walk in there standing tall.

That's how I feel about my 6'er. Ceiling height is just right. Being able to stand up straight inside the trailer is a game changer. One step, hunched over in a 5'er and I was thinking "nope, nope, nope".

Changed my path - steel is now OK, and focused on 7' wide unless you have a smokin' deal on a 6x12.
