    Audio mixing board, 16-20 channel

Looking for a mixing board. Our current 24 channel's left output decided to go on vacation. We don't need stereo, so it's not a huge deal, but it would be nice to get back into a fully operational unit again.

I've been very happy playing with a Behringer X32 setup, they've been around long enough that there should be a good used market for them by now.

I only sit down at the board for a couple weeks a year in December providing a house mix for a live band during a Christmas burlesque show, and the board has only been in place for 4 or 5 years so my experience isn't extensive. Prior to this I was using a ye olde Mackie 8 channel analog setup, the Behringer has been a MASSIVE improvement. I'm not making huge asks of the board, but for basic mixing to stereo with multiple independent monitor feeds as well as 32 track recording it's worked well. I'd love to be able to load custom VSTs in but that's not a horrible shortcoming. What's your experience with them Tricky?

Lots of quality control issues from everyone I talk to. Lots of brand new DOA gear, etc... Truth be told I've only had personal experience with their smaller boards... Like desktop 8-channels, etc... But I've warrantied 3 of them, I think, and #4 is junk too... I just ran out of energy. Maybe their larger boards are better? I dunno.

I may have a 16 channel Mackie passive to unload. My band just bought a new Yamaha. We upgraded to have separate monitor channels....

That's too bad, but thanks for checking. I appreciate it.
