cheap track bike

Looking for something cheap to track this season. Had the chance to grab a 01 sv but the guy was a huge flake and kept jerking me around. Anyone know of or have one up for grabs?

i mean for now its just for doing track days, preferably something that's not going to eat up tires left and right and also be cheap to fix. I was looking at a 1st gen SV 650 or maybe an older f4i. Pretty much open to suggestions. if i could keep it under 2k that would be preferable as the woman would cut my balls off if i showed up with a new bike and no money for the wedding...
