    Ducati Superbike

Looking for an older Ducati Superbike to add to the stable.
(still regret selling my '97 748.)

Not looking for a track bike, street clothes only.

    Interested in:

    748
    996
    998
    749
    999

Let me know what you have collecting dust in your garage.

    Re: Ducati Superbike

I see a handful on Facebook.

    Sub 1k mile 999 (yellow) for 15k

    9k mile 998 (red) for 12k

Prices look steep but I’m not a Ducati guy (yet) and unsure of their market values these days.

Pretty sure there is someone here that collects every bike from that era including a number of Honda gp bikes that would be best source.

748 come up from time to time. Most tend to be in the 4 to 5k range. I think they are a pretty good bargain at that price. 916\996\998 are always above 10k, not so much a bargain I think. The 749\999 are pretty uncommon these days.

Totally agree! That’s what I have seen lately too.
I have passed on a few good deals along the way so I know they’re out there.

I am leaning towards a 749/999 but uncommon is an understatement.
Also wouldn’t mind another 748 too.

Just looking for an honest bike at a decent price.

I know of a 749R that could be for sale. It has street and track bodywork, it's rolling on 17" Marchesini's, also has a set of Mavic 16.5" magnesium wheels which can be included. Would be in the $15k range.

I would love a 749R but spending $15k on another bike would get me divorced for sure.

Best deal I've seen in a long time. Shame about the paint job though.

I forgot about a friend that had an all stock yellow 748. Let me ping him to see if he still has it. He was looking to sell it a few years ago

I was looking at that one also. As always Maintenace is the key with these. I would check it out if I was in the Mkt. for one.

I saw that duc too. It's only about 30 minutes from my ny house. I would have grabbed it already but I can't be sure I can use vt to title it. I've only done vehicles I know have a clean history, this one most likely had a lien on it. Plus God knows if it will run.

Vermont won't "title" it. Vermont will register it, no problem. However, because it's more than 15 years old Vermont won't issue a new title.
