After selling my monster at the end of last season I've realized how much it sucks not having a bike. So ive saved up a couple pennies and am looking to buy another bike. I have 1500 but can get 2k for something I really want. In not set on any bike in particular so entertain me. I'm just trying to get back on 2 wheels (maybe 1 at times).

2k? Two thousand dollars, right? Good luck. Guys are buying track bikes to bang around for a price like that. You know if you put down a 2k deposit on a new bike you'll be happier. Maybe a bit poorer, but a brand new bike. Go through the for sale thread and see what's available.

Of course but not gonna find one for under 2k, I'm still kicking myself for letting mine go for 2400. I needed the money so it is what it is. I'm not expecting a newer streetbike. But I am looking into some 70's ujm cafes. I've found some decent deals on cl but I'm actually about a week or so until I will have the cash.

Yeah I'm.leaning towards the 250 dude hasn't gotten back to me so it could be gone... If not ill find another cheap cb or similar and throw a couple hundred into it. I'm really into cafes right now. If I could find a nice two stroke for a decent price I would scoop it up.

That 250 needs rearsets bad, with those clubmans stock peg position will make that a torture rack.

Yup I saw that too, I figured a grand for the bike gives me around 500 bucks to put into it. Should be able to make it look and ride pretty mint.

2k for a bike that can keep up with traffic, but still be used for the track? 1st gen SV or bandit 600.

Yup wrong time to be looking but I don't want to wait till next year to ride. Seeing all those bikes out there gets me depressed.and besides I can't hold on to money for very long....
