Looking for a Hawk GT...

Been some time since I have had a 650 Hawk so I'm looking for another mostly for a track day tool but putting it on the road is not out of the realm of possibilities. So, that said I would rather the candidate not be a cobbled together bitsa with no gauges and issues like that or a complete project.

I also know the argument toward an SV but I'm a bit of a Honda guy so I'd like to stay with a Hawk.

So, whatcha got...?

I have a friend that bought a blue one this summer that he MIGHT want to part with soon. I will ask.

Hey Doc,
Ok, keep me posted on the blue one.

I talked with Tony about the other one. For not too much more money I could pick up a running Hawk. I know he states that he will replace the engine if it goes tits up but there are more issues than that. It is still on the list, waiting to hear back on a couple of others.

There was a mint, 100 percent stock Hawk on CL for a few weeks that the guy was asking $3500 for, but I don't see it listed anymore. If I see it pop up again ill post it over here

Even if I were to pony up that much for a Hawk I'm not sure I would track it.

Yep, every one I've seen listed mentions in their ad that its a 'cult bike' therefore they can justify asking the going price of a late model duc 900ss or big 4 supersport...

If it was the Blue one it is not mint (salvage title) and it is back up with no reserve, last i saw the bidding was at $750

I have yet to pay over $2000 for any of the 10 Hawks I have owned.

I am on the hunt for a 1989 Honda Hawk GT also known as an NT 650 GT or RC31

The particular Hawk GT that I am looking for was sold to a young lady in Portland Maine some years ago and she sold it again within a year to an unknown buyer in the Portland area.

If you happen to know of a gray Honda Hawk GT that COULD be for sale, please contact me. This Hawk belonged to a friend on mine in Mass at one time and I know how it was set up and I would like to buy it.
