Race gas cap 2006 CBR 600rr

Looking for a gas cap for my 06 cbr 600rr. I don't care what brand as long as it is functional. Would rather buy used then pay $100+.

I have a nice vented silver Vortex cap with a motocross style check valve in it. You can have it, you can pick it up somewhere between turn 2 and turn 6 at NHMS.

Come to think of it, I lost a black one there too. The caps are cheap, $30-$40 and I have the Vortex insert you can have, it's silver. The Gen 1 caps I am tired of losing so bought a V3. Fitment says it will work with the 2006 CBR

Just found a gen 1 vortex at Motosport International and picking it up on Thursday.

Yes you can have the base. I am not doing you any favors, I think the thing is a POS. I have lost 2 caps on the track, the threads are too fine. I dont have the screws, I needed them but you can have the base.

Called a bunch of places and only Motomummy has gen 1's. The kicker is that they will not sell just the cap. Guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and get the updated one.
