Suggestions to purchase replacement/OEM chevy parts

My truck's mirror lost a battle with a tree as a car coming in the opposite direction invaded my lane. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase replacement parts other than through a dealership? I need an entire passenger side mirror assembly for a 2023 Silverado 2500 HD. These mirrors have cameras which I think makes them that much pricier.

Best I can do to help is start googlin for ya but I'm guessing you're already on that. I'd probably start with trying to figure out exact part numbers, though sometimes that can start you down a rabbit hole if part numbers changed mid production for whatever reason.

Grab the OEM part number from a parts fiche somewhere if you can.
Then you should be able to find it on any one of the many GM parts warehouses online, by googling the GM part number.
Be aware that the current UAW strike is still affecting a lot of parts distribution. Most of those "warehouse" or "parts direct" sites don't actually keep the goods on site.
They usually place their own order to the GM distribution center as needed, and since the UAW is on strike, those distribution centers are not filling orders.
Something like this, but make sure to go through the inputs of your actual truck (year, model, trim, etc).

Yea, I've been doing some googling. With the strikes going on parts availability are even more scarce. I checked eBay as well and I'm not sold on the quality of the used market.

I thought about this after the fact. I would have crushed the car at best and ... well, something more serious at worst. Because they didn't hit me, they just kept going as if nothing happened.

Same thing happened to me a month ago. Luckily for me the mirror swung back and only broke off the outter plastic, which was an easy and cheap fix.
