need a tank for a Superhawk

Looking for a fuel tank for a 1998 - 2004 Honda SuperHawk. Hoping for decent condition , paint not so much a concern.
Small dents / dings not an issue , hoping to find one without a leak .......
    Thanks !

ebay is your best bet as there is none really around locally. If you need other parts though let me know as I have a few spares laying around in my garage (ie: brakes, wheels, exhausts, lights, etc)

Tanks on those bikes really don't leak. It just seems that way because the low fuel light is on at 110 miles and at 140, you're pushing it.

Just kidding, though that is a reality. Best of luck finding one!

Have you tried the Superhawk forum? I know there were a couple of part outs last week.

Re: need a tank for a Superhawk

I have been getting aprox 33mpg on mine :/ Probably because the pair mod on my bike was done incorrectly so I think my bike was running 200% lean... Recently corrected so lets hope it doesn't drop too much

I get 120 before the light, no matter how I ride it. And its running super rich (190/188) mains. I'm going to ditch the K&N and jet it right, that should help.

I don't have one and never did. I just remember back to when those bikes were introduced and I'd be out on rides with owners of them and thought that 110 to 130 was the common range. before the light went on. Not much further and the rider was hoofin' it or ridin' bitch to the nearest fuel station. It was a big joke because we as a group always had to plan rides and stops around the SuperPigeons' diminutive range.

Oh believe me, I hear it all the time, especially going to Laconia when 3 of the bikes in the group are Goldwings. "Are you fucking serious?" is usually the response when I start pointing at the tank on the highway. Of course any of them that have ridden it come back with a shit eating grin on their face...

This has me laughing because i rolled into the gas station on my Tuono yesterday, backfiring like a motherfucker (out of gas) after 115 miles. I thought you had 20 miles after the light came on? yeah right!
