I just responded to your ADVRider post, but I'm going to respond here too because I feel so strongly about it....SXV550
FZ1?
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
Fast as hell, Italian, sexy, dry clutch & within budget.

No longer looking.
Will be posting up in the maintenance help forum soon.
OH YEAH Great choice, you will not be sorry.
Enjoy.
It was genuinely the most fun bike I've ever owned, and possibly ever ridden. I commuted from Watertown to South Station most days for a few months and never broke down. The battery is the size of a pack of cigarettes, so if you don't know how to start it, it'll die quickly (you basically get two chances). Oil changes are frequent and annoying, and oil level is impossible to check, so you have to measure it when you drain it to make sure you didn't lose any. Gas capacity was like 1.25 gal, and it got like 30mpg, so you didn't go far. Ran rich at idle, so would foul plugs if left alone too long.
