    woodcraft bar risers

Hey everyone. I have a set of woodcraft clipons, but would love to trade someone for a 1 or 1.5 inch rise bracket. Mine have 0 rise and cause the levers to interfere with the plastics. Ill look up what size I have later, but they fit my 07 cbr 1000rr. Let me know if anyone would like to swap.

    Re: woodcraft bar risers

I just did the same thing last week. I managed to get everything so it didn't hit the plastics at either lock with the original 0 height clip-ons.

My issue was that the way the bike is designed and the aftermarket Penske suspension makes the bike higher in the back and I was constantly leaning on my hands. Not good for someone with carpal tunnel in both wrists.

I went with 1.5" of rise and I had to mess with the controls to get it so neither reservoir contacted the upper part of the upper by the windscreen. It also helps that I have a Puig racing screen, so it's higher than stock. I haven't taken it out yet, so I don't have an opinion.

If you want to maintain your current control positioning, I would go 1.0" and not 1.5".

Chuck, much like you I have the same Penske setup. I'd at least want to go back to the stock height. I have to move the levers too high for normal riding comfort right now. Maybe it would be better to buy the 1 inch risers, and just ebay the ones that I have.

It's a huge difference (ote the bars are in the same position in both photos):

    Standard clip-ons:

Hey Chuck, did you notice you have a scratch on the front fairing? Between the headlights. I'd put a sticker over that or something if I were you.

I think you'd need to reposition both the brake and clutch reservoirs completely.

Very true. YOu can use the same bars though.

PK had drilled mine to keep the throttle and left hand switch pod in place.

It was a 15 minute installation.
