    I will tomorrow, thanks for the lead.

    I can find them on ebay for 800+ shipping and mileage unknown. Not gonna spend $800 on a $1500 bike

    Ehhh I don't know what broken in it or when it happened.
    If the PO was doing 100 on the highway and the timing let go - I pull the top end down and replace it for a few hundo and hope the trans is good
    If the trans went and he was trying to take it apart and fucked it up, then I gotta split the case and add up the bills
    If the timing went when he was starting it go for a ride, I'd luck out and the valves and top end might be ok.

    Either way, remove+replace is an easier task than remove+tear down+hope it's ok

    Murphy's law. I had a great running 99 motor 2 years ago - couldn't give it away. Ok, I got $50 for it. But you get my point. I may still have the air box. I'll PM you later if I do.

    Bump! still need the airbox, one I got with the motor is missing the lower half that connects to the ram air tubes
