    WTB: Enclosed trailer

Keeping my eyes out for a quality enclosed trailer, big enough for 3 bikes and gear. Probably about a 6' x 12'-14'.

    Want:
    V-nose
    Ramp door
Probably dual axle but single axle considered
The more set up it is the better. Probably gonna be sleeping in this thing at the track.

    Budget: 2-4g's.

    Re: WTB: Enclosed trailer

Not sure if he still has it but Freddy had a pretty nice one for sale a while back.
    I ended up with a 6.5 x 14 and I really like the size.

Yeah, Freddy's was pretty nice. He sold it, though.

There's a small place on rte 1 in Salisbury that has some used trailers. About a 1/2 mile north of Stripers restaurant. Last time I drove by he had 3 of them for sale. Not sure of the prices but only 15 min drive from us.

I just got a 7x12 dual axle and love the size. I spent $3400 just to put it into perspective. Will keep my eyes open.

Yup. That's all he has.... I can drive by there on my way to work tomorrow and see what he has. No hassle as it's just another way to get to work.

Oh cool. I missed the "used" part. Sure man, if you've got a spare minute I'd appreciate it I may stop by myself either way unless you say there's nothin worth lookin at.

    Re: WTB: Enclosed trailer

He's got two. But only one with a drop down ramp/door. 7x14 dual axle. 2011. Asking $4800.

Not so used but he usually has older models. I was looking at a smaller one 3weeks ago. It sold in two days. I should have bought it. My loss.

That is pretty much exactly what I have and it is a nice overall size. Price is about right too.

im not trying to spend a lot.. i was actually considering getting an open one but it seems like enclosed is better in the long run..
one or two bike is more than enough for me..
what should i be looking at for cost? will it be fine to trail with a corolla

idk its a decision i have to make i def need to get one for next season though

According to this the Carolla can only handle 1500 #

    http://auto.howstuffworks.com/auto-p...ty-chart36.htm

Lighter is better with small cars even if it means not going with a enclosed trailer.

If you justified not going for a cheap 3 rail trailer due to weight, I can't see how you would even consider an enclosed.
