Yes. And trailer balance (read: tongue weight) is going to be your most important factor.

Small flatbed with a single rail, or (better yet) a single-rail Kendon are the way to go.

First step would be to create your own WTB thread instead of derailing Pete's.

An all-aluminum framed 12-14' box w/ vee-nose is going to be pretty hard to find under $4k. 6.5x12' single axle Thule/CargoPro's usually have asking prices starting at mid-4's. You'll have to search for a while to find one under 4k. Search daily & be ready to jump once you find one at a good price...they literally get scooped up w/in a couple days.

    6.5x10' single for $3400: http://nh.craigslist.org/rvs/2562677319.html

You can fit 3 sportbikes in a 6.5x10 w/ vee, but its VERY tight and basically requires pitbull type stands for all 3 bikes. You have to get creative w/ sleeping arrangements, but can be done. I made a platform bed using e-track load bars above the bikes. It works, but you do have to do a lot of juggling. I think a 7x12 or 7x14 is an ideal size. GL!

    Re: WTB: Enclosed trailer

    Thanks Keena.

Not lookin to sleep in there and store the bikes at the same time. Gonna kick em out first.
I just mentioned it cuz I'd like for it to have decent lighting, electrical outlets and maybe some shelving & cabinets inside.

dunno ive used it all year.... I use the pitbulls and fit 3 bikes no problems could fit more but its usually just jay and I and occasionally another bike so its works fine.. still room for tire stacks, the A/C, toolboxes....

I would definitely go 14 foot. We can sleep 3 on nice comfy cots pretty easy.
