Howdy friends
When I was an impressionable youth I ran 3 10” subs powered by a 1000w RMS AMP in my cars.
Now amazingly, a stock Harmon Kardon system in my daily driver does just fine.
Now I’m looking for a loud and bassy setup for my three stall garage.
Anyone looking to offload anything?
PM me.
Where are you located? I have a Sony STR-DA50ES Receiver that I'd give away.

I have like a mile of speaker wire if you need some
I bought a Sonos speaker on Craigslist and put it in the garage -- does a great job, would recommend.

Shit! This past summer we got rid of a decent component stereo system that was sitting in the storage space above our garage. Typical "old fashioned" component stuff: turn table, tape deck, EQ, CD player, 4 speakers & receiver. A few components went into someone's barn sound system, the rest went to a buddy's party room.
I was going to set it up in our garage eventually, but seems a decent Bluetooth speaker and a streaming service works good enough for me. And it's far more portable. LOL
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?

I have a Sony 6.1 system with a sub. It's old, like 2005/6 but its not ancient. I was going to toss it since I don't have any speaker wire. You want it, its yours.
I do not suggest Sonos. I'm fully equipped in the house and it pisses me off almost daily. Its user interface and compatibility with other systems is not as good as it should be for the price. Their app blows. This is supposed to be their specialty. I pieced it all together so I can play from any device onto any speak seamlessly. It isn't seamless.

One device with speakers is pretty cake. But any bluetooth speaker does that. To me, Sonos markets as the "smart home" "futuristic" sound system and I'm trying to use it as that. I just kept throwing money thinking it was going to get better and it hasn't. We have a sound bar, two play 1's and a play 5.
Started with a play 1. It was great as a normal bluetooth speaker. Added a play 5 to get some more oomph and to line-in from our record player. Nope, can't link record player, the play 5 and the play 1.
Then I wanted to hook up my TV. Thought that my smart ass, very current, Samsung TV would just connect to it. Nope. Had to add a sound bar. Figured I would get the bar, then use the play 1 and play 5 as the stereo speakers. Nope. Can't mix and match play 1 and play 5. Had to buy two of the same, so now we're up to a sound bar, a play 5 and two play 1s.
Oh and never mind the absolute shit show of setting these up if you move, change your wifi password, or any other technical thing. Hardwire device to router with ethernet cable? WTF. I honestly don't know how someone isn't coming in and stealing the entire market from them.
Instead they come out with this hideous wireless thing with a charging dock. So bass ackwards.

It's been sitting in a home depot bin for 7 years. Soundbar in the living room. Jobsite radio in the garage. No one on here lives near me even if I posted it for free. I don't do facebook and I'm not gonna deal with craigslist psychos just to give it away. So yeah it's just sitting there. It's not in my trash bin but I'm also not doing anything with it or have plans to.
I've had a NAD VISO for years now. It has pretty good sound and is really portable.
