    WTB: Honda RS125

    Looking for a Honda RS125 for my buddy. He's into building vintage scooters and mopeds and wants a lightweight 2-stroke to start racing!

    After seeing you on one Roland, I'm tempted myself! Not sure about having to rebuilt the top end every 300 miles.

    Top ends are quick and easy. I did one in between sessions at a track day and didn't miss a lap. If you keep an eye on it, you can run it more than 300 miles as well.

    What's the future availability on parts look like for these and what does a top end and a full rebuild kit cost these days? It's one of the big reasons I sold off my 250.

    Top end with HRC piston is about $250 and Steve said he should still be able to get them for a while. I did try the Wossner piston for about half the price, but it tended to seize, not sure if there's something odd about my cylinder. Apparently Wossner is still working on improving the design. I haven't looked into other aftermarket pistons, but other options do exist.
