WTB: KTM 200 XC-W

I am perusing craigslist, but figured I'd post here as well.

Looking for a 2009+ KTM 200 XC-W. Recluse a plus.
May also consider a 250 XC-W.

The biggest problem with the 250 xc-w from a price standpoint, is ktm always offered huge discounts and rebates on them new. Everyone seems to want the 200, or 300. I remember when I bought my 200 new, I could have bought the 250 new for a couple hundred less.

And they blow out new leftovers pretty cheap. That made buying used a lot less appealing in my case.

I think his problem is no paperwork. His price is not that good for a bike that cuts out like 2/3rds of his potential buyers. Bike is going to be a pain in the ass to resell if you ever decide to turn it over.

But I probably am talking out of my ass.

Not that there isn't danger in the woods but personally I'm less likely to get mangled in the woods than I am trying to clear doubles and triples or blitz a set of whoops. Doesn't really matter too much though as long as we're all still riding!

depends on the state though. my 300 came from ME where anything under 300ccs doesnt get a title or MSO. filled out some paperwork and i was done with a title, reg and a plate in under 15min. they asked for a previous reg and i said that i had a OHRV reg and they said that was good enough.
IDK what RIs laws are but maybe its similar

Thanks a lot for the suggestions guys (thanks Pete). I ended up buying an 09 200 XC and an 04 KDX200. Was supposed to pickup two KTMs but one seller flaked out so ended up getting a KDX.

That 09 is gonna make you a happy man! If both bikes are for you, that KDX will be a dust collector.
