Use a gixxer one, it is more robust and easily gotten used.

Check out username D'ecosse in SVR ... the FAQ forum also has a couple of substitutes you can use.

D'ecosse is the resident electrical engineer that provides some incredible workarounds on the SV.

Use the search engine, put in his name as author and RR or rectifier as search terms and several good threads will come up.

Ted .. don't mean to rain on your parade but SV riders are notoriously cheap bastids ... I am stunned at how low they can go to save a buck.
However there is some real talent there that are not afraid to share their talent, knowlege and experience.

D'ecosse, Zoran, GrahamB and Rich Desmond are a couple that immediately come to mind as very competent and provide high quality feedback.
Thank god Kates does not roam that arena!

Not my bike, dont really want to monkey with the electrical if I dont have to.

And I cant find a way to test it with the connector I have. The service manual only shows the 3 prong connector.
