WTB: snowmobile / trailer (feeler)

so it turns out my gf's mom has a house up in wilmington vt with a path leading out to 2 trails right from their yard. (was up there this past weekend) Anyways i may be getting a sort of hand-me-down sled for little to nothing and possibly a second from the same person with a blown motor, or so they say. the sleds are supposedly older, early 90's late 80's. looking to see if anyone has anything similar in age around maybe 600cc and up. Also looking for a trailer with the capabilities of towing 2 sleds. for now this is a feeler thread and i am not committing to anything for probably a month but i want to get the ball rolling and see if anyone has anything. Considering just getting a beat up utility trailer and just rebuilding. any additional thoughts or ideas are appreciated!

I have Polaris Indy 650 - for sale thread- check it out. I have a 2 place trailer too but was going to hold onto that for now.... But....

Depends on what you want to spend. I've got a 98 Polaris XLT Limited which is a 600cc triple. It's got aftermarket FAST M-10 rear suspension with rebuildable Fox shocks. It's sitting on an aluminum 101" x 10' enclosed clamshell style 2 place trailer. I believe the trailer is a 2001. The sled is in near showroom condition and the trailer is also in nice shape.

Unfortunately just from reading that i know my budget isnt big enough haha. i am new to sleds and pretty much looking for a sled around 600cc and a 2 space trailer for $1000 or less to be honest. thanks for the response though

Not a problem. I just figured I'd run it by you. Once you trailer a nice clean sled on an open trailer you'll realize why I have an enclosed. LOL.

this is really the wrong time of year to start looking at sleds and trailers. you may be able to find an open trailer with a salt shield in your price range. keep checking CL and watch out for scams. there is an event the first weekend of Oct in Freemount, NH (Grass drags & water crossing at the junction of rt 101 &125) they have a swap meet and used sleds and trailers for sale.

its like trying to get a deal on a bike in the spring haha, im aware. literally just found out last week about the house when we went up for the weekend. found a few trailers on CL for under 500 with the salt shield so hopefully i can work something out
