Any interest in a Subaru legacy GT Limited? The Legacy GT is very similar to the WRX but a little bigger, more powerful, and more comfortable. The limited models come with leather and a sunroof. My best friend and I have them. We both have had WRX's in the past but now we prefer the Legacy. LMK if that something you want, he is selling his.

Not sure EXACTLY what the OP is looking for but I'm not sure a 14 year old 2.5RS fits into the "late model wrx" category. Cool car none the less

Just throwing it out there. FYI the only thing that is 14yrs old on that car, is the frame.

Kinda sorta.
1. They changed the way the HP is rated.
Our 250hp 2006 3.0R was rated at 245hp for 2007 - same engine.
2006 Legacy GT is rated for 250hp, 2008 243hp - same engine.

2. He said "Late model" presumably meaning the new bodywork, 2008+.
2008 WRX 224hp
2009+ 265hp.
All of the above are easily retuned.

3. There's a significant weight difference. The Legacy GT is a great vehicle but it's not the same as driving a WRX.

OP: 2009 Sedan in NH on CL. Says it has a moon roof and 6 CD changer so that may be the "Premium" package which also included heaters for the front seats, mirrors and windshield wipers and some other "stuff." I have an 09 5 door.

Sounds right. It should be a 'limited". Historically, that's the only way to get a factory sunroof on a WRX. It should also have leather, heated seats, heated mirrors and wipers. My '07 5-door is a limited.

Limited was an upgraded model that was an end-of-life special package with leather seats but no rear wing. They quickly sold out of them, so you have a "keeper!"

For 08 and 09 the only option was Premium. Then in '10 they added the Limited back in addition to the Premium.

I was interested in those also when I bought the WRX. Then I looked at the depreciation and dealer network. Great car but for a daily driver in New England the Subaru has those advantages.
