Comp Werkes/ Xtreme Discount Cycle

I ordered a Competition Werkes fender eliminator from Xtreme Discount Cycles so this is a two for one review.

I ordered it from them on Sunday and it showed up on Wednesday so standard shipping is really quick. The FE was $142+ $6.95 shipping. Seems pretty steep for a FE but it comes with directions that go inside the tail section and two mounting options.

Install took less than 5 minutes and the quality seems really good. I only had two small problems with the kit. I have after market pipes so it didn't really want to fit between them. I had to get the bolt started and then bend it down a little to get it to fit, not really a big deal. The second problem isn't really Comp Werkes but the wires on the new directionals are too short to have the tail section open and keep them connected.

All in all I am pretty happy with both of them. Here's a pic. I went with the closer to stock mounting position so I wouldn't be picked on by the cops. I did manage to get the pic with the directional on with my crappy cell phone.

Comp Werkes has been around for a long time. I bought a fender eliminator for my '93 GSX-R 750 back in '94 and the quality was great and installation was easy, peasy, Japanesee.
