I bought a pair two weeks ago at Razee's instead of the plug in type. They are great textile gloves very tactile and the heat unit works very well. The battery is smart with amp control and charging smarts. Works great with my existing grip heaters but keeps the finger tips warm not just the palm. Riding the last few weeks has been awsume with warm finger tips. The alternative is heated under jacket+plug in gloves + duel heat controler and then u are wired on to the bike. Just plug in each glove battery in the gauntlet of the glove and your hands are free to take them off any time. So far they get my seal of approval and can be used on other situations such as plowing shoveling snowmobiling, etc. Its worth the $190 to me. They will come down in price as they just hit the market.
