Hey guys, I'm new to the site was referred to it by a friend and am very happy with the amount of local info on here. Just wanted to share an experience I had the past week with a new bike shop up in Peabody, MA. The place is called Motor Worx www.motorworxperformance.com I live a few miles away and decided to give them a try on my 2008 gsxr 750 for a service, exhaust, programmer, and some powder coating. All I can say is WOW, the owner John really takes pride in his work and did an excellent job on my bike. He is certified for Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Ski-doo as well as a master tech. for Chrysler, talk about some well-rounded training! Their located on Rt.1 South in Peabody, about a mile down from the 114 exit. I know in this area we only have Cycles 128 and Parkway Cycle to really choose from for the Japanese stuff, and their nothing to rave about, so I just wanted to pass my experience on to fellow riders in the area who are looking for a quality repair/performance shop that actually cares about a customer relationship. They do a lot with the Harley's as well, definitely performance nuts! Check them out.
Check them out or Check "us" out?
BTW, Their = they're
Good luck...
This is pretty ironic..
This copied and pasted from your site...

Good morning everyone
Jeez, just sharing an experience with everyone. I guess I work for Garneau's Garage in Twin Mtn. as well, since I wrote up a past experience I had with them this winter snowmobiling on one of the sled forums. If I worked there I would have just said come check us out, end of story there wouldn't be anything to hide. To each their own I guess, just letting others know about a good experience I had instead of others you see on the net bashing how bad a place is. Think I'll stick with reading the forums from now on and not posting, you guys are brutal lol.
People are suspicious when somebody gushes about a business, especially when your first post isn't an introduction, but rather a plug for a business. People hate to be given a sales pitch masquerading as an impartial review (not saying that's what you did, but it came off that way)

Exactly. And the interwebz being all anonymous and stuff, no one here knows if you do or don't work there, or if you did or did not write any such review for a sled place. We can only take your word for it, and without a proper introduction, people here (especially) are less likely to trust anything you say. Redemption plan: stick around, introduce yourself, show up on a couple group rides and prove you're a real person who had a genuinely good experience, as you say.
And yes, we are brutal.

Instead, you might fill in your profile and introduce yourself, like most everyone else does.
I'm sure you can understand that someone joining a website, without furnishing any personal details to post a positive review is a little suspicious, don't you think? I can tell you that on many forums your post would have been deleted as soon as the mods saw it. Apparently since you say you own a GIXXAH! they are cutting you some slack.
Additionally, the Motor Worx website has no names and claims to work on everything - cars, motorcycles, Harleys, snow machines, etc. and "Ask about our Supercharger & Nitrous installs for your H-D if you truly want to "Lead" the pack!"![]()

Just curious how many people did you see working there? Thats a lot of different types of machines to specialize in. One of my concerns would be if you brought your bike in for regular labor and someone else brings in their bike for a modification they would work on the modification first because they're charging a higher labor rate. Did they do the powder coating in shop or have a 3rd party do it? I'm not trying to knock on a new business, I'm all for more local shops in the area, just trying to get more info on you're experience.
As for other shops in the area besides parkway and cycles, Breaklites is much closer to you then both of those stealerships and they are know for building some of the highest quality custom bikes in the States.
Let me ask you a question... When you walk into a room full of people you don't know, what's the first thing you do? Go straight into infomercial mode and promote a business or product with "Hey, guys, I'm here to tell you about ___ and how awesome it is! Look what it did for me!" or do you introduce yourself & tell us what YOU'RE all about?
