That's a lower mile version of our car! At least I know my engine was actually done, since I did it with my son's help.

    Oh, flagged.

So, the ad was updated a short while ago. If you are able to, flag again.

The Acura RL used to have a center planetary differential system like Subaru’s VTD. But they discontinued it for cost reasons.

Frankly most American consumers seem to treat an “AWD” badge as a checkbox. Don’t think Ive ever met a RAV4 driver that understood the system shuts itself off, and no one who has explored real-world CR-V AWD system performance would buy one.

Ironic since Toyota builds some really capable off-road systems.

I’ve owned a 1993 Ford Explorer and a 2000 Jeep Wrangler and a 2005 Subaru Legacy that I’ve driven in snow. Plus other fwd vehicles. But I’ve never driven any other “awd” vehicle.

Yet, in preparation that someone actually buy my wrangler and when the civic finally stops kicking, I’ll need something, and yes, find myself looking for “awd” vehicles. Cx3/5, crv, rav4. Mostly due to gas mpg for year round driving.

Yes I need points beat into me, but after driving true 4wd suvs and experiencing Subaru’s system, other awd systems will be a let down?

Sorry to hijack bergs, I flag every one.

I wonder if he’s actually getting any business. Is he a straight scam artist, or just a flaky unreliable crook?

Butcher, bumped your thread on NASIOC as well. If you posted the story in Off Topic you might get an entertaining response.

Also realized that I can post the link to 2-3 different browsers and ding him again.

It's true. for the average driver these systems are likely better than true AWD.

Please flag the new ad for engines as well as the two existing ads selling the Outback.

Don't let some unsuspecting family get caught out by his dishonesty. His "new" engines are all spraybombed and cobbled together.

There is a guy from VT who contacted me from NASIOC to say you are targeting his number 802 Nnn-nnnn. Says he’s not Boyd and never had any customer complaints or legal action against him. Please get in touch and clear it up.

I had a conversation earlier today at the phone number in question.

The issue has been sorted out with the affected party and apology issued.

The same ferocity given to this Subaru chooch (the scammer, not Bergs), should be turned toward the user @harleydavidsonn on Instagram. Confirmed scammer.

Instagram is funny, they will take down posts of speech not liberal, but won’t take action against scammers…
