Lightbulb Twisted Throttle Retail Shop Closed

Just noticed recently when I went by, the sign & company truck were GONZO, checked web site when I got home. Apparently after the 'Vid they decided to shut down the retail store/shop and just go mail order. Looking at their web site and how much of the listed products are "out of stock" I don't see them surviving much longer..

Obviously not a big blow as not many people showed up, and honestly half the time if you went to the store you'd still need to order & wait even for pick-up. Still, another motorcycle shop shut down....

They cater pretty hard to adventure touring now. That's a pretty small niche in an already small community of people. Not to mention Touratech opened up a store somewhere in CT recently.

I do miss their blowout pricing on tires, though. I got a few tires at over $100 off of what most retailers sold them at.

I dropped my Tiger off with them to install some additional lighting back in the day. I had also bought some crash bars and they installed them for free bc "they had time" even though I told them I would install them. I thought was cool. I've bought a lot of stuff from them over the years, but I guess now that I moved and hold onto bikes longer than most it's hard to be a repeat customer.

I swear every ADV bike I see in North America has their sticker on their bike so I'm a little surprised.

I ride by there on my way to and from work. There is just a small Denali sign on the big sign board. Are they still using the building as a warehouse around the back?

One time I bought some R&G stuff there I got a free T shirt. I guess it was free as the little logo was on the back and the company name was on the front. So it is a cool looking rag now.

I’m not surprised, it was a steady decline once they bought that place. I remember going to their open house when they were at the mill in south Kingston. The stunt show with teach was cool to watch.. the first year at least.

They were really solid to me. I put a rack system on my Triumph that wasn't supposed to work with arrow cans. They installed it in house for me and used some machined spacers, longer bolts and did the install for me for free. They basically wouldn't let me leave without them doing it. Their shop was slow and the mechanic wanted to work on something.

I turned to them a lot to buy stuff but never pulled the trigger. Their website would let you input your year make and model and then still feed you 700 products that "fit your bike" but it was just a gazillion universal parts like fog lights, tank bags, stickers, motor oil, luggage. It made it hard to track down what you were actually trying to buy.

Brought all of top cases and rack for my vfrs and my wife's fz6 from them. It was nice to buy shit and be able to go there and pick it up.
