Big thanks to Doug, he's been working all week with me trying to troubleshoot some problems on the bike. Once I finally accepted fact he got me the part I needed, and had it all set to go for me. When home, popped it on the bike and its at 100%. While I was there, another NESRian was there that he was helping as well. So big props, figured he deserved some public thanks.

I second that! I was the 2nd NESRian there. Popped my battery right in to the checker - told me it was bad - I bought a new one.

Then I managed to be retarded enough to spill battery acid while filling the battery at home. Yes please mock me and poke fun.

Funny thing was - Doug asked me if he wanted me to have him fill it - I said it looks easy enough thanks though. So he got a very funny phone call of me saying I was coming back to buy another one. He was awesome and filled the one I fucked up for me.

Nope. Bought one - tried to fill it myself - ended up spilling some b/c I'm 'special' - called Sheppo to tell him what a retard I was - brought it back and he filled it there for me.

Also almost ended up being indecent going out tonight - was wearing same tank top and pants I wore when battery acid issue happened. Went to brush dust off my shirt and a whole the size of my fist disintegrated - same with the pants and in a 'problematic' location!

Guess I may have gotten some on me heh.

When I was in HS I worked at the local gas station, pumping gas, changing oil, swapping batteries, plugging tires... easy stuff. Got some battery acid on me once, didn't even realize it. Was working the full serve pump and noticed I was getting some looks. After the third car in a row to look at me funny I took notice of the growing holes in my clothes...

Funny now, not so much when you're 15.

edit: kinda messin around, I do need a helmet but I've got an odd shaped/sized melon so I'm going to need to go through a few trying them on before I find something comfy. Had to go through a bunch for my last streetbike helmet, and my last dirtbike helmet.

it was pretty fucking ugly. I do have some HJC CL15's on clearance, other than that I sell, HJC, Scorpion, Rocket and Shoei helmets. My head is odd shaped too, so I can relate.
