    Re: Ducati sales and service

I don't have a Ducati, but have dealt with 2 great dealers that sell Ducati along with other makes.

I've had great luck with Razee's in North Kingstown, RI. Great sales staff, great parts department, and the service is top notch. Just expect a bit of a backlog on service...which IMHO is a good thing because they have a great reputation.

Also, I've had great luck with SeaCoast Sport Cycle in New Hampshire. The sales staff was easy to work with and will make sure you leave happy. The Parts and service as well, are both great! And of course, you have Patricia to help with all your gear needs

Bought my Duc from Razee, they've been good, and past experiences with Seacoast have been excellent.

I am in metrowest MA, and have chosen to give SeaCoast my service business. And will give them future sales (parts, gear, bike) service if all goes well. it means 150 mile round-trips for all my visits. But this is after I chose leaving other Duc dealers less than pleased.

I've been going to Seacoast since I bought my Aprilia there in 2005. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I bought a helmet there a couple weeks ago after Jim spend about an hour with me having me try on every helmet in the store before we found the right fit. He then sold it to me for a great price. In 2006 I crashed my Aprilia good enough to fuck the frame up, turned into about an $8,000 repair, covered by my insurance. Charles was able to get his hands on all the parts I needed and had the bike repaired in about three weeks. And it was perfect when I got it back. Kyle Thompson, who is now working at Seacoast is a great mechanic and also an all-around nice guy. I had my 749s serviced by him at Naults in 2004, and then later had him install an 872 kit when he was working at BCM.

-dunbar in brockton is my choice, Tom is just one of those good guys. parts and accessories, not so good.

-Razee's is another good shop for ducati service, but as mentioned.....it won't be done "this week". salesstaff is typical high-end douchbags, unless you know a guy who know's a guy.

Seacoast for the win. Bought two new bikes in the last 1 from them and I'd buy another should the desire arise. You're not just another sale to them, you're a person, who enjoys the same passion as them. I love every aspect of this place, sales, service, apparel, all top notch. It's like Cheers, but instead of beers, they serve bikes.

Lol. That's not something you hear about Tom very often.

He has helped me out a couple of times and gone above and beyond what he had to.

Service... you're better off (IMHO) with one of the independent garages around New England.

Different strokes for different folks i guess. I have dealt with dunbar and Tom in particular and found them both to be sleazy, arrogant and generally uninterested. Needless to say, I took my $15k of business last year to seacoast. They are stand up guys.

Ill never step foot in dunbar again. Riverside was great to deal with and I've only dealt with seacoast for some gear but they seem like an awesome group of people to deal with.

I go to Riverside, they have treated me very well. Casual atmosphere, not a high pressure shop. The service guys have been really helpful too, put up with my zillions of questions since I started wrenching this stuff myself.
