Geez, that got heated. Here's your update, children:
I received the exhaust from exotic, then denied shipment with UPS. The Big Brown Truck showed up the next day and took it away. Watching the UPS tracking back to exotic, it looks like it bounced between their shipping center and home office. Eventually, they told UPS to pick it up for damage inspection.
Meanwhile, I contacted MasterCard and started that whole thing. They requested a letter from me saying why Exotic sux as well as any and everything I could print out attesting to that fact. I complied, in spades.
Then I got a call from UPS asking the condition of the package before it was returned. It was mint; it only sat in the corner of my garage for a couple of days. UPS said thanks, good-bye. I think at this point exotic was trying everything they could to not have to own this thing.
Well, last week I finally got a letter from MasterCard stating that they slapped my money outta Exotic's hands and and put it back into my account.
VICTORY!!!
The entire process took forever, but for once the little guy came out on top. And the Micron I that I purchased from a non-sucky retailer has arrived, been powder-coated, heat-wrapped & installed, and is mean as a bastard.
