Got a Hiflo Filtro air filter off Amazon for my SV... Tried dropping it in and it didn't fit in the airbox properly. Compared it side by side w/ the stock filter and the outer plate is about 1/8th of an inch too short front to back and about 1/8th of an inch too narrow side to side.
So I contact the company directly to give them a heads up to see if they wanted to see it, figuring they'd like to see if it was a quality control issue and figure out why. No response after almost a week so I send it again. A few more days go by and "Lili" responds to say they don't sell on Amazon but would "look into it". I wait a few more days & don't hear anything so I send her the link. She responds after another few days go by like she didn't give a shit and tells me I should send it back to Amazon.
Well thanks... Appreciate the apathy.
UPDATE: Returned the first one to Amazon for a replcement.... Got it and experienced the same thing.
Sent an update to Lili to let her know of a possible quality control issue and she never bothered responding.
Nice to know she cares....................
