Looks like Dan is AWOL. Not sure if he patrols the forums much.
The problem was a bad (loose) ground wire to the regulator/rectifier. It shares it's ground wire with the starter relay. The starter relay connector pins were all burned out and the ground wire was blackened up to 2 inches back from the connector. We changed the pins out on the plug and replaced the starter relay.

Thanks for the help again, Degsy! Yeah, I'm not here too often... although I'm still riding daily it's a lot less fun to think about it in December.
I couldn't be any happier with how well Landric's treated me and my bike. It runs even better than before and looks great since they gave it a good cleanup, and the service was great. I'll absolutely be recommending them to everyone I know!
