Roadside Marine 2009 Review

I think it still goes without saying, that Tony, Mary, et all at roadside marine are awesome.

I just had a great experience there yesterday. I went in looking to finally purchase my new boots. Talked with Mary and she ended up giving me the catalog. Found the A* SMX-5 boots that were in my price range for retail price. Talked with her about it, and she gave them to me well under MSRP because she wanted me to buy through her rather than the internet.

Not only did the price of the boots come in well under what I was looking to pay, she also got overnight shipping for no extra cost so I will have them monday.

I think they have been topnotch in every dealing that I have had with them. Whether it was kicking tires in their showroom, getting service or parts, or buying gear, everyone has been phenominal at RSM.

I also think it shouldn't go without saying that its important to support the "good" local vendors that we have. I don't think that they can guarantee that they will always beat the internet prices, but for free shipping alone, they will probably get you close, and hey, 15 miinutes of your time talking to Mary or Tony could be worth it.

When I get back I definitely want new boots, and I think I might want a new jacket and pants (2 piece suit maybe?). You saying I should give her a chance? I think I'll have to pay them a visit.
