picked up my bikes and other parts that Rich and Degsy have been working on.

excellent work, did the full race body work on my Ducati 748 race bike, mounted up track and rain tires for the 748, cleaned up / touched up / buffed up and repaired a crack on my new to me Ducati MH900e, buffed out some scratches on my HD's rear fender, repaired a crack in my Skidoo's side panel.

all excellent work, great guys to work with.

When did you pick that up? Howd ya like it compared to the 1098 on the track?

picked up the 748 a couple years ago. finally got to track it out this winter. this spring will be the first time on the track with it. i'm betting it will be a little easier to run around loudon. but no way near as fast as the 1098s. but not worth $20k+ either. i'm sure i'll still want the 1098s for NJ.

that's all in how you define fast. you might be able to get the 749 around Loudon faster than the 1098. you should take the 1098 to Calabogie, then you'll really get to stretch its legs.

That's a proper paint job. The gold pinstripe is an absolute must. You need a number on the front of that thing!

I actually think you'll find the 1098 easier to get around Loudon, but definitely post up and let us know how it goes!

Throttle response on a stock 749R out of the crate is otherworldly. If someone two states over even THINKS about rolling on a throttle, any throttle the bike lights up.
