What to do about scummy contractors?

So the house next to mine just got bought by a slumlord that is fixing up the place. She hired a scummy paving company.

And they came to deliver some dirt and level her driveway and land. They didn't have a place to put the dirt so they just dumped it in my parking lot. My wife went out and told them not to, but the idiots just shrugged waited til she went inside and dumped it anyways. I've tried calling them and they've told me twice they were going to pick it up and didn't. Now they just aren't answering my phone calls. I haven't been able to park in my parking lot for 5 days now because of the giant dirt pile in the way. What do you think I can do against these stupid lunks to get my parking spot back?

    Anyone want some free gravel?

I would put that to use in my yard in any way possible, faster than you can say "abandoned property"

Even if I didn't need it.

This parking space is your land?
Dump 5 gallons of used motor oil on it, call the DEP and say some contractor dumped contaminated material on your property.

It looks like processed gravel. If it was, I would nicely spread it out in your driveway right where it is and fill in those low spots.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I like the CL idea.

I have also put some to use in little dips and pot holes but its alot more than I could use to do that with and my lot is already paved(poorly) under the dirt and gravel.

Re: Stan's Paving, Agawam: what to do about scummy contractors?

So was gone today at the beach. The driveway got paved. The pavers move it and used it. The spot is clear now.. Still pissed at the pavers for leaving it there, but my current problems are solved at the moment.

Also reported them to the BBB, but they told me the only resolution I could get is for them to remove the gravel. So since the gravel is removed they may not even get a hit to their BBB rating since the problem is now resolved.....

    Agree!

They give positive reviews to companies that pay them. Not as some shady deal; they market to businesses to "join"

Leave the BBB post up for awhile.
I had a problem with a business and couldn't get it resolved. Posted a poor review and let it sit. Eventually the guy needed bank financing for his business and I guess it was something the bank cared about. Problem resolved.
