    Thumbs up Thanks Duncan Moto

Needed new flushmounts from my hit & run incident while at VIR.

Wanted to try a different model flush mount.

Ted took care of me and got my parts (needed oil & safety wire pliers too) quickly and let me know right away.

    Thanks again

I decieded to change from the K&S Flushmounts to the K&S LED Flush Fairing Marker Lights. I gotta say, the flush fairing ones are a much nicer product. They come with OEM quick release connectors installed, and use an easy plastic threaded nut to hold the side marker to the fairing.

The original flush mounts come with just the wire, and require drilling in the fairings to run a screw & nut through the side marker

my old flush mounts have OEM quick release connectors because I had to cut, solder, and heat shrink them onto the K&S wires. The new ones already do that work for you, and makes installation much quicker.

Good choice. The 600 (that Srikar is on the way to pick up as we speak) had those same flushmounts that Jim had originally.

That was the first thing we replaced. (And the idiot that owned the bike before we did had the dual-filaments wired wrong anyway, so the brighter filament was the running light. )

my only issue with the original flushmounts is the lens is not durable at all. i've gone through 3-4 lenses with very little impact. We'll see how the flush fairing ones work out. they were much easier on the installation part at least.
