"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
Winston Churchill
I was talking to a Duc owner at Seacoast who also has a Triumph Sprint ST, which he bought from Salem MA and he likes them just fine.
Riverside has been a dealer for what, 20 or 30 years -- stop in an say hello to Carlo. I never heard anything bad about them. Just a bit of traffic to get in and out of Union Square. Good places to eat nearby.
I'll chime in and open the door to some flame-age! I love Great Bay! They have gone above and beyond for my since my first phone call regarding buying the bike. Before even meeting anyone up there in one phone call I got better service and a better price than any of the other dealers I either called, stopped into, or both. And that service has not stopped since! They have given me several really sweet deals on Triumph accessories. And when the bike needs service (warranted work 2x, I do everything else myself) they have also gone above and beyond. I get put on with the service manager who still knows me by name and he tells me to bring the bike in as soon as my convince. Then he makes sure the bike gets fixed right the first time, and quickly. Just my experience though. I have also used Second Wind to get a tune done on the fast and cheap, they were cool too! I dislike Swansea for a list of reasons not worth going into. And Aramands has some nice folks, but I've only ever bought parts there.
Great Bay: talk directly to Al Arbor, service manager. He was service manager at Riverside for many a year, their loss. They often have a loaner available while your bike is being serviced. Ride 111 east to 1A in Rye, go north a few miles, have lunch at Petey's.

The brake light switch on my Triumph failed. Went to Riverside and they did not have the Triumph part, but gave me a Kawasaki switch, which was identical other than two plastic bumps that didn't affect it.
Price was $18, online price is $15 to 18 it seems so very fair.
Holy back from the dead ... this thread was 09!
I kinda go to Great Bay... They are close to Salisbury. I get great service plus Im the mayor!
"Bombing" speed is inversely proportional to the gross weight of the bike and rider in question. ... You noticed I overshot and had to turn around in the driveway 2 doors down, right?
They bringing the Tiger 1050 back? Maybe I'll pull a Garandman and get another liter bike.
Not at all, since I bought a 1050 anyway. I think by now it's pretty clear from many forum posts that some people get deals there, and some do not.
FWIW at least unlike Riverside they actually tried to sell me a Triumph instead of trying to switch me to Ducati. But Riverside is closest and had the part I needed at a reasonable price, so fair is fair.
