Looking at the forecast, it looks like we should be dry (highest forcast percentage is 30% chance on Saturday) this weekend but we expect it to be very hot. Depending on where you get your weather misinformation, highs look to be about 95 degrees
All students and racers should literally start hydrating first thing in the morning before you start to ride and keep it going all day. I've found that a two minute cold shower in the middle of the day can do wonders to lower your body temperature....and Loudon's facilities are open for all to use. If you have a bike that tends to run hot, a little water-wetter type additive (we use Maxima Cool Aide) does help the bikes run a little cooler, and you'll want to avoid any extended idling on pit lane - especially after you ride.
Given the alternative of 45 degree weather, I'll take this anytime. Plus, think of the positives....tires are much less prone to tearing in the summer time....See you all up at the track!
