It's hard to believe that the season is already more than half over. This weekend was hot, but all in all not too bad. People were pretty good about using their head on Friday....we had a few extra tip-overs but nothing too bad. The motard bike that exploded between 2 & 3 gave everyone a little rest (except for those of us who were out sweeping the track in the heat - thanks to the corner workers, Shane, Corey and Ricky who came out to help get it clean).

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Brian Kent, who had a late crash in turn 2 and broke his ankle pretty good. The airfence that the track ordered in April was earmarked to help prevent exactly what happened to Brian...and hopefully he is the last one who will ever have that issue.

NJMP August 15
We've got a crew going down to race CCS August 13&14, and we are staying over Monday to run Ducati Revs NJ. The event should be a great time, we have Eraldo Ferracci and PJ Jacobsen coming down for Q & A, the Ducati Experience Truck will be there for demo rides on new Ducatis, and Mike Himmlesbach from Penske will be a special guest instructor detailing setup and there to talk about what Penske has learned since top AMA like Yoshimura have started using their shocks.

I hope to see everyone there!
