8/31 Event Registration Discount Ending Soon & LRRS Weekend Details

For anyone who is looking to sign up for next Friday's event, the registration discount is ending tomorrow. This is our last summer event of the season and is typically a beautiful time of year to ride. We are going to have some new tools that we are testing out in the Advanced and Track Experience Classrooms that should prove to help speed up rider development as well.

The LRRS weekend should be excellent as well. Several championships are tightening up, and there will be another pit bike race as well as a motard race with a full dirt section. For those of you who have never raced, LRRS gives you the opportunity to try things out pretty cheaply. Your first three race entries are half price, they give you a garage to work out of for the weekend, and give you a free transponder rental as well. New riders race only with other new guys.....once a racer gets past a lap time threshold they are automatically bumped up into the next class. Come out and give it a try!

So being a special course can I assume there is qualifying on Saturday and the race is the last on Sunday?

I'd love to, but I am doubtful for the Supermoto Race....just found broken cases on my motard bike yesterday. It would be fun to use those jumps - we'll see what we can work out.

I don't know about qualifying - this may just be a race on Sunday. As for the pit bike race - it wil be whatever we make of it. We can create classes, grudge match races whatever comes up. Shout out your ideas at the riders meeting.

The roatation varies during the day, but the sessions are 15 minutes each and there are 6 scheduled practices per group.

For the motard race, I'm assuming it will be last race on Sunday so you guys can set up the course. If this is the case, does this mean it will replace the regularly scheduled motard race (race 6) or be in addition to it.
