Gen III warmers in the works

There will be a couple announcements on this front in the coming months. The next one is that we will be introducing our Gen III Woodcraft Tire warmers in about 30 days. After our first round of Made in USA warmers doing so well, we have started to make a series of upgrades to the warmers for the next go-round (we love to tinker with things). Gen III will feature a new outer material that is both thinner (think easier to install) and tougher (special rip-stop fabric). Plus, we LOVE the way it looks. I've got a Gen II 1/2 proto set that I'll be playing with this weekend at NHMS - feel free to come by and check them out. Other upgrades are an improved bungee system that works together with the new fabrics to hold the warmer tighter on the tire, plus an upgrade of our side curtain to genuine Polartec fleece, which has some really impressive wind stopping properties.

All in all, we are quite excited about this whole line and look forward to unveiling the finished product in June!

I'd like to see material on the inside that doesn't burn through. it was a few years though. I realize that's kind of a tough thing since its gotta be strong enough to take the heat but to also let it through.

Aw damn, forgot to check them out.

Eric. Question... How cheap/easy is it to replace the high/med switches? After many years of abuse mine are getting a little finniky. Thinking about maybe replacing them.

No problem - our guys can definitely do it. The latest switch design is super robust and should last essentially forever.

Not trying to threadjack this. Let me know if I should PM you so as to not clutter this thread.

Is the latest switch design something that could replace the Love controller, curently on the version of Woodcraft warmers that I have, that will for some reason let me decrease the temp setting but not increase it back up again?

Side curtain is an issue with the current Woodcrafts I have with the Supermoto. Will the new design by friendlier in that application? Any plans for an "upgrade/exchange" policy? Racing is expressive...

Any chance they'd come in another color other than black! I'll never forget that guy who peeled out of the garage and had some black thing spit out of of the back tire, realizing later it was a Woodcraft warmer!

Yeah....I've seen that once before as well. Warmers are a little low on rear grip.

Those are many generations old....it's got to be close to a decade since we made them that way. However, I can point you to where you can get a new controller online...no problem. Email me at Woodcraft.

Probably at least 8 years but they still work other than not being able to adjust the temp. I'll get in touch at some point. Thanks for the response!

We've got almost all the parts in to get started on this. With any luck we'll have some before the classic.

Re: Gen III warmers in the works

You can call at any time and put a set on order if you'd like. We do not have a guaranteed availability date at this time. (as Eric said, we are hoping by the Classic)
