Pioneer Laserdisc and Sony DVD player

If you have a hankerin' for the 90's, these two items are right up your alley!

They both work and are free. I am too lazy to check model numbers but will do so for any interested person(s).

You've got about 6 days. After that they will be carefully dropped at the transfer station then professionally crushed.

Wow, laser disc. That was the wave of the future. My buddy had one. I remember they were the size of a record and had to be flipped over half way through the movie.

He was buying movies like crazy when they first came out too. You have any movies to go with it?

You haven't lived until you've experienced the original, original, unfucked with cut of Star Wars on lazerdisc.

I ran across my old laserdisc this past weekend. Movies were expensive, you had to flip them at least once, but they looked really cool. Holding a laserdisc made anyone look like a munchkin holding a cd.

This is tempting... I know I still have my Star Wars trilogy laser disks, but I'm not sure if I still have a working player. The last I remember it was in the basement, but it may have gotten pitched when we rented a dumpster to clean it out a few years ago.

That's actually why I bought a LD player back in the day.

Wait, they are movies? I thought Laserdisks were only used to do lines of cocaine off of in the company of shoulder pad wearing Aquanet haired women.

It is the reemerging wave in media technology.

If you scooped up this prime example, I guarantee you would be the only one on your street with this technology!

We had the cassette converter that allowed you to play tapes through the 8 track player.
