Thanks, buddy.... no really, thanks alot

a co-worker of mine is the reason i got a 75 dollar parking ticket yesterday and he knows it... it's cuz he parked his bike diagonally so i couldn't fit in the spot we usually park in so i had to park somewhere else for 10 minutes untill he left... i told him not to do that last week.

oh well...

of course the good news is that my plate starts w/ "GZ" & it LOOKS like they wrote "G7".... so i'm gonna check online once the ticket gets into the system & see if that same mistake got copied into the records... if so, then the ticket's goin in the trash

if they DO catch the Z, then i'm gonna fight it, cuz i was on a sidewalk, not a "No Stoping or Standing Zone"... sidewalk is 40 bucks, No Stop/Stand is 75

I SEE DUMB PEOPLE

i asked a whole bunch of people at work to read me the registration number & EVERY ONE of em said "G7", not "GZ"

yeah I got VERY paranoid today as I saw an infamous orange ticket floating around the sidewalk right near where I park...

We all park in the same place every day...but it's kinda cutting it VERY VERY close to the 15ft fire hydrant rule...plus no one's even sure if there's a parking rule/time limit for the zone...

gotta love how the DNC is putting everyone on notice - I don't know where the hell i'm going to park next week...

are you working next week pete? how are you getting into the city since you're coming from the north?

uhg, tell me about it... i work in security

i'm probably gonna end up either finding an alternate rout or just end up parking at Wonderland & taking the blue line almost all the way to the other side & get off at State... that's what i do when i can't take the bike in & there's not supposed to be any changes to the blue line other than increased service

Sounds like a dick.

Find out his social security number and mail in a 1040 tax refund form (with an extremely full Schedule A) with his name and number on it next January. The IRS can be really fun to deal with.

DNC commuting plan

That parking garage across from your island (towards 90) in chinatown should be an option. In fact I'd survey the area and park then glide outta their if cost is too much of a factor..... :-)

Across the Fort Point channel bridge is open space where I see a few bikes parked.

GEtting into town:
I'd go 60 in Severe, to the airport then take the TEd into Southie and come up from the south into Chinatown.
With a bike you'll probably be the envy of the commuters when you roll on by.......................

Nikon, i sit on my ass behind a desk w/ two computers & 4 camera monitors for an 8hr shift, watch hot chicks walk by, direct people to the visitors center & a few other odds & ends.... $13/hr ain't bad for that little bit of work

Suf - parking usually isn't a problem cept for when that dingleberry parks diagonally... but i don't see that being a problem anymore... i had a sarcasm filled discussion w/ him kinda hinting that i was pretty fuckin pissed off at him for doin that. he got the picture.

how long does that rout through revere, past the airport & up from the S take ya? seems a little too far outta the way attacking boston from the side seems a little more viable, but i dunno... gotta look into it a little more.

either way, next week looks shitty anyway so i'll probably be goin to wonderland & takin the blue line to State

Going down rt 1 and getting off at 60 might be a problem, that is where all the traffic is being routed to from route 1 and only local traffic is allowed to go to the rt 16 exit of route 1.

If I were you and riding down from topsfield I would go down route 1 and get off at the Main st. saugus exit of route 1 and follow main st just for about a mile, then turn right onto central st. to the end. After that you want to turn left onto lincoln ave and travel for about 3/4 of a mile and turn right onto bristow st. Then follow Bristow st to the end and turn right onto RT 107 which is now revere. You will travel a couple miles down 107 and come up to a rotary at the rotary take the 3rd exit and that will bring your onto 1A. You follow 1A all the way to the ted williams tunnel.

That's another possible route I can give you another but most likely each way you go there will be traffic, the ted williams usually has traffic so when I pay the toll I take the first exit I can which is south boston and take some back roads from there into china town.

I ride that road a lot during work and always run into a lot of traffic in the later afternoon and early evening hours.

Ticket Island SOLUTION?

That's the back way into General Electric my dad used to take up to 107.

I'm too cheap to pay the toll so off in Chelsea and around the power plant and into Charlestown.

I passed the island by today and ya' all seem to combat the ticket pricks with bike covers. LOL

GOOD ONE! Cable that bitch down tight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I use that way a lot to get from revere to saugus to lynn up by Boston st.

It's going to be tough with all of the shut downs that they are talking about.
